Great Northern*

Designed by Nicklaus Design

The Great Northern Golf Course in picturesque Kerteminde is one of the most spectacular golf courses in Northern Europe. Opened in 2017, the championship course was designed by the renowned Jack Nicklaus and combines world-class golf course architecture with the natural beauty of the Danish island of Funen. In August 2026, Great Northern hosted the DP World Tour for the first time, staging the Danish Golf Championship—one of Denmark’s most important golf tournaments. In doing so, the course impressively underscored its reputation as a world-class golf destination.

This challenging par-72 championship course captivates players with its wide fairways, artfully sculpted bunkers, strategically placed water hazards, and perfectly manicured greens. Particularly appealing is the interplay of gently rolling terrain, open landscapes, and the frequently shifting coastal breeze, which makes every round a new challenge. Among the absolute highlights are the spectacular island greens on holes 9 and 18, which demand the utmost precision. An extraordinary golfing experience where athletic challenge, breathtaking nature, and Scandinavian elegance come together in a unique way.

Langesø Golf

Designed by Line Mortensen and Philip Spogárd

Nestled in the idyllic forest landscape of the island of Funen, Langesø Golf is one of Denmark’s most charming golf courses. Just a few kilometers from Odense, this 18-hole woodland course winds through an impressive natural setting of dense trees, rolling hills, and picturesque clearings. Designed by golf course architects Line Mortensen and Philip Spogárd, the course blends harmoniously into its surroundings and offers an extraordinary golfing experience where athletic challenge meets unspoiled nature.

The par-71 course is characterized by varied holes that demand a high degree of precision and tactical skill. Narrow fairways, cleverly placed obstacles, and the natural contours of the terrain ensure that success depends not only on driving distance but, above all, on a smart playing strategy. A particularly distinctive feature is the tranquility of the expansive forest area, where each hole develops its own unique character. Langesø Golf is thus a true hidden gem for golfers who appreciate challenging golf set amid unspoiled Scandinavian nature.

Odense Golf Club – Holluf Park

Designed by Jan Sederholm and Henrik Jacobsen

The historic Odense Golf Club is one of Denmark’s oldest golf clubs and, with its 18-hole championship course, Holluf Park, offers a challenging golf course in the heart of the island of Funen. Founded as early as 1927, the club looks back on a long history of golf. Opened in 1980, the course is located in the immediate vicinity of the historic Hollufgård manor house and its expansive parkland. As the venue for numerous Danish championships and a European Championship, Holluf Park has long secured a firm place in the Danish tournament landscape.

Designed by Jan Sederholm and Henrik Jacobsen, the Parkland Course features gently rolling terrain, wide fairways, and a varied combination of water hazards and numerous sand bunkers. Despite its comparatively open layout, the course demands precision and good course management, especially on approach shots. The length of the fairways and the cleverly placed obstacles present challenging tasks even for experienced golfers. Excellent course maintenance and the charming park-like landscape make Holluf Park a golfing experience that is both challenging and visually appealing.
