GOLF TRADITION ON LAKE WÖRTHERSEE AT THE CARINTHIAN GOLF CLUB DELLACH SINCE 1927
The course of the Carinthian Golf Club was laid out in the 1920s by a French golf course architect as a 9-hole facility. In 1954, the course was expanded to an 18-hole facility. Located directly on the southern shore of Lake Wörthersee, the course is characterized by its slightly undulating structure with moderate slopes.
It is certainly one of the most challenging golf courses in Austria and has often been the venue of international and Austrian golf championships. The terrain and its spacious, wooded surroundings offer its guests exceptional scenic attractions.

A PLACE IN THE SUN!
Only 10 minutes by car from the center of the Carinthian society and wealthy health resort Velden am Wörthersee, the beautiful 18-hole golf course is located in the midst of a dreamlike landscape.
The challenging course with perfect greens blends harmoniously into the landscape and demands both length and precise play from the ambitious player. However, beginners will also enjoy the course thanks to the generous dimensions of the landing zones and the top course condition.
The 10th hole of the course is impressive and has already won several awards. A height difference from tee to green of around 70 meters almost takes your breath away during the teeshot and a long drive is twice as much fun here.

The golf course Moosburg is located in the middle of a beautiful nature park near Moosburg and can be reached from Pörtschach am Wörthersee as well as from Klagenfurt in a few minutes by car. Its central location makes it possible for everyone to play spontaneously and quickly.
